We have an older RCC version .038 and have patched the BCM 3.5 server with the latest patches in order to run the latest Reports for Call Center package, but where can I get the latest package from??? Version .038 was very buggy and kept disconnecting from the BCM.

Yes, thanks, I forgot to mention that is what we just completed as well last night. We are now at 3.6 we applied the cummulative patch 2 as well as the voice mail update. Is the new RCC part of any of those packages?

Okay, yes my question was answered and I found the package on the BCM through the web interface under the "Install Clients" button right where it should be. I should have known!

Have your vendor patch the hell out of your system. Several releases of RCC came out after Cumulative #2. They are up to build .050, and that is being heavily worked on right now at design to fix some calculation errors.

Version 3.7 has a different build of RCC. Does anyone know if there are any differences between that one and build .050 on 3.6?

Sort of. Everything is patched and the RCC v.050 host server is up and running. Seems most of the issues have been resolved thus far especially the connectivity to BCM issue.

We are running it on Server 2003. Funny thing was that there was a MySQL script under the Nortel RunOnce directory called "AddMySQLUser.bat" that would not fire off correctly unless you manually excecuted the commands one by one at the DOS command line. If these batch file commands are not run, the RCC server will not connect to the local MySQL database.

The only issue we are troubleshooting now is with the PrintCaller.EXE program which keeps failing with an error "Location of Logging folder is invalid". We're not sure if this an RCC issue or due to us running on Server 2003. (What does the PrintCaller.EXE do???)

Thanks for asking and for your help.

I may be mistaken, but I do not beleive that RCC is compatible with and flavour of Win Server. You should either use a Win2kPro (patcthed to latest) or WinXP.

This could be the source of your problems. (file permissions or something like that).

Good point. We'll build a Win 2000 Pro workstation today, patch it up and install RCC.

I'll let everyone know the results.

Okay gang. We were being stubborn about trying to run it on a Windows 2003 Server, but MagnaRGP and other posts were correct. As soon as we deployed RCC on a Windows 2000 Pro workstation things cleared up. The PrintCaller.EXE program is now working. BTW, that PrintCaller program apparently is what allows the "Scheduled Reports" to access the printers on the RCC host machine.
