Where can I learn about color? (in general)

I've been studying InDesign CS as of late, and I'm not very familiar with color in general. For example, matching colors up (complimentary?) and so on. Is there a good book or other resource to get familiar with using colors?

I did a lot of traditional art in high school, mostly with pencils and technical pens, and I don't really have much experience with using color well :)
