Dear DDD707,
You say that you get the
Not enough memory does the message continue with:
to run this program/Application, quit one or more of your programs and try again.
If that is the case, and the error message comes up after several hours of running the Computer
and Sidekick, then it looks like WinME has the same memory management problem as Win98se.
If anyone else who has used used WinME with sidekick98 has other opinions would they please post
In that case, upgrading to Sidekick98 is not going to solve it, as the same thing happens with SK98.
There should be some copies of Sidekick98 on EBay if you wish to try it out on your system but I am afraid that Starfish no longer have any interest in it, they don't sell it and they don't support it!
It would be a good idea if Starfish started selling SK98 again, they would get quite a few customers as there appears to be no program around that can touch it and that includes Palm Desktop 4.1 (
A very good program, though limited in comparison to SK98 and definitely in comparison to
Internet Sidekick97)
I suppose you could try that.
