Where can i get Norstar Manager and what will it back up.
Also how does it connect to the systems?

Try this site it was working the other day,

It will backup anything with a RAD, it connects direct, modem or LAN

how do you direct connect on a 8x24 older system, throught a station port?

Yes, just connect to any unused station port. Make sure your 8x24 is at least DR-5 software.
