Where can I get forensics computers/software?

Alien makes forensic PCs
lots of software providers; i suggest Encase

do a Google and some research for your specific needs though.

I suggest that you get hold of a copy of the book "Anti Hacker Toolkit" by Keith J Jones and others. Published by McGraw Hill. ISBN 0-07-222282-4. This contains details of what you need to build a forensics toolkit. The CD with the book contains a number of the recommended items. It is a fascinating insight into hacking and how to overcome it.

Where can I get an Alien makes forensic PC? What is there website?

AccessData ( also makes forensic software, Forensic Toolkit. It is less costly than Encase. However it does depend on what you are trying to acomplish. Many serious forensic examiners use multiple tools because each has strengths and weeknesses.

disclaimer: I am employed by AccessData as a programmer.

okay, you are really getting into it.
if you know the hex value for the color bit of the skin tone you are looking for and examine files for that bit and reconstruct the file where the bit was found you may be able to recapture the picture.

easy for standard picture files but steg makes the task even more difficult.

however, if you are this far into it you should be working more with one of the law enforcement organizations and less with us here.

Im not following, when I open a gif image with skin in word pad I get:
(-$JRH‡“‡®½¯Öè×ãöåÚðÝÕìÖØòÛá÷äîúîèñçãëäçïèîõðð÷òìóðæíêìôóëóóêñôêðõêðõèîõåëòàèïÓÞæËÛâÇÚßÈßáÉæãÈêãÅëßÁêÛ¿éاѿ’¸¦‹œŠ§—y“…[rdDTI

Im not seeing any hex values in there:
ex: #CCCCCC or #FF1122

Can you give me a little more info on what to look for?

Can some tell me what the hex values are suppose to look like?

use a hex editor to open the image - it will show you the contents in...guess what... hex !

How can I believe in God when just last week I got my tongue caught in the roller of an electric typewriter?
