I am having trouble locating a needed fileset "devices.pci.df1000f8" can someone point me in the direction to find it?

I am running AIX 5.2.

Thanks!

Doesn't seem to exist, unless the only available level is the base level: 5.2.0.0.
If you want the base fileset you will need the disk that came with the card or AIX install media.
For any fileset update:
Try Fix Central:
Pick:
Unix Servers
Aix Operating System
5.2

Paste the filename in the search box and hit Go.
Searching for devices.pci.df1000 gives a few hits, but none for devices.pci.df1000f8, so either only the base fileset exists or you made a typo ;-)

devices.pci.df1000f8 seems to be bull specific are you trying to connect an LP8000?

mrn,

YUP LP8000 adapter!

After doing some research I have come to find that Bull has put out a driver for this adapter. There is no IBM driver for the card..
