I am trying to create a data base that will look up infromation by an "account" number and if there is no current data then let you enter it. I will need to enter a few different types of numbers and would want to have names show up and populate a table. I know what I want it to do, but I don't know how to get there.

you can buy a book called ms access for dummies and if you have problems we can help you with that here

Enjoy

I will try my best to help others so will others do!!!!!

you can also read the fundamentals document linked below in order to get a good understanding of how to structure your tables correctly.

turk,

you can use the account number to link the tables, but you need also a PK to hook with account number to make the combonation unique.

thanks,
Don
