You are certainly in the right place for experts and novices alike. My experience in resolving acess proplems is that reading books on the subject can be confusing and sometines misleading. Hands on is the best, and talking to the guys on the forum will help you. You must remember that Access is a powerful database and unlike many on the market it is programmable. The subject is vast for the beginner, but with a lot of effort the rewards are great. Access is primarly used to store data and to calculate results from expressions, and present these results in a form which the user does not have to understand access in order to obtain results. You are in essence starting to learn how to program when you enter the world of access. It is a great nursery for future programmers as well as a rewarding database for obtaining well presented data processing programs.... It is also the most frustrationg package on you computer learning curve... Good Luck
