I'm a newbie, and a complete JavaScript ignorant. I want to learn, where can I find good JavaScript programming tutorials?TIA

webmonkey.com has many many tutorials on many many things.

the address is :

<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">

or

<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">
theEclipse
eclipse_web@hotmail.com
robacarp.webjump.com
**-Trying to build a documentation of a Javascript DOM, crossbrowser, of course. E-mail me if you know of any little known events and/or methods, etc.

I suggest that you do a search on Yahoo! or some other good search engine on what you want to learn, on the internet there is a wealth of free info that is just out there, so do a search and get at it..

oh by the way, if your looking for quick and easy how-to's they don't exist, you will actually have to read through all the info, maybe taking 2-3 hours on each one..but if you want to learn you have to be willing to read it..

spike232

Most tutorials seem to stop at a pretty elementary level, and seem to have gaps, so you'll probably need more than one.
I found the one on TUCOWS (<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> covered more ground than most, if you have the patience to search around for it. The path is via th e"HTML Goodies" and "Programmer" links.

If I remember correctly, there's also a decent one at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> you've finished these, download Netscape's JavaScript Client-side Reference and Client-side Guide from <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> you'll have to dig around to to find the "JavaScript" link, but it's well worth it.

It looks like you've already received some good advice. Might I suggest <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> press has a myriad of books on a myriad of subjects. The one I've been using is Professional Javascript, ISBN 1-861002-70-X

It's a little expensive, but it covers JavaScript inside and out.
