Hi,

I'm looking for a low-cost ethernet repeater chip. A 3-port version would be nice, as that would probably be the cheapest.

I am confused by the term chip
Are you looking for an IC?

Are yu looking for a hub or switch?

Are you looking for a coax repeater, or even more rare a UTP repeater? (so far as I know, it is only a repeater if it is two port)

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

I just noticed that there's a maximum to the amount of repeaters you can put after each other, the so called 5-4-3 rule. So now i'm looking for a switch chip.
