Where can I find a c compiler for SuSe Linux?

Searched on SuSe's site as well as google and I can not locate a gnu gcc compiler to download. Please bare with me, new to linux. I attempted to ./configure and got a message stating I have no compiler installed.

Did you check in Yast? It's in the administration section. It has a software install screen that contains all of the RPM's for SuSE.
