i want to swap the new windows millenium icons (my comp, recycle bin etc..)onto my laptop running win 95 just to make it look a bit more modern..but i cant find the icons anywhere?? does anyone know how to do this?

Go to Control panel, Themes.
Save your current settings as a theme (call it anything you want).
Save the theme, and all the icons you need from c:\program files\plus!\themes\ to floppy.
Install it on your laptop.
If you don't have theme support on the laptop, go to and get the theme installer (free).
Most other icons are in shell32.dll Cheers,

Jim's Modems:

there are a lot in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHELL32.DLL and C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COOL.DLL.

There are many colorful icons in C:\WINDOWS\Moricons.dll. Many of these are related to MS and non-MS products, such as Word Perfect, Paradox and Quatro Pro, but others don't relate to any specific product.
Happy hunting!
