I created an image of a HP machine(d220). I took that image and installed in on another HP machine(dc7700). After the image was installed I cannot find any of the drivers. I know they are located at HP's website for download, but I would like to add these drivers to the first image so that when I do an image I don't have to install drivers each and every time. Does anyone know where drivers are located on the dc7700 machine? I tried C:\Windows\system32\drivers and it didn't work. I have another dc7700 machine. Is there a way to find out where each driver is located?

C:\windows\system32\drivers is the default, To check where in your system goto device manager high lite the device, right click then properties then drivers, then drivers details, that will give you the driver and the path.

Are the two machines (d220, dc7700) going to be able to use each others drivers?

linney,

I don't think so. I did the image and I have to search for the drivers now. I am thinking I have to add all the drivers to the system32 folder and test it.
