Hi

trying to create an application to make it easier to set/unset various stuff in the "Internet Options" box in IE 4..

I have searched the registry for anything obvious to no avail.

Does anybody where this stuff kept ?

Hope this helps!

I remember looking into that some time back. The information is stored in the registry, but it seems to be all shoved into some weird binary string which I found impossible to figure out.

You could try using a registry before/after comparison tool, like Regshot, which will show the changes that happen in the registry when you change settings via the standard interface.

Internet options are stored in the registry.

Could be a bit more specific if I knew what options your trying to check for or change.

On the last page on internet options there is a check box marked "Show Pictures" which obviously determines whether IE downloads / shows pictures or not.. any idea what key that is in the registry ?

Appreciate all your help

thanks

Hope this helps!
