Where are Quark preferences?

A dialog box opened and said I needed to delete the Quark prefrences. Where is it? I'm using 6.5 on a Mac OS 10.3.9.

The default location is in User/Library/Preferences.

However, a number of Quark users put the prefs in a prefs folder inserted in the main Quark folder as it reduces some problems.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

What were you doing when you got that message?
When I installed Quark 6 from my disks, Quark did not put a Preferences folder in the Quark 6 folder,
I called Quark tech and they told me to put one there, and that solved some of my problems.
If you delete the Preferences folder I don't think Quark will put it back. However if you delete the contents then I think Quark will fill it back up.
Another thing, I would update to Quark 6.52
