Hi, I'm working on creating a dashboard of all the SSIS packages at my job and I don't have access to (that I'm aware of) all the package information as it 'resides' with a different department (security reasons) and I need to ask them about any information regarding packages. I receive success/failure emails currently for every job but I'm wondering where that piece of information is stored on the server.

For job A the success indicator reads 0.
For job B the success indicator reads 1.

I'm assuming there's a 'system' table or something that would store the value of all my jobs. I'm trying to figure this out without having to tap the other dept. with questions. Once I know where it is I can see if I have access to it and if not I can ask if I can get it.

thx!

Depends on how thay are run.

If they are run through SQL server agent than the results of the jobs are stored in th esysjonhistory table in MSDB, have a look there to start with.

use msdb

select *
from sysjobhistory

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by

It appears I don't have access
The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'sysjobhistory', database 'msdb', schema 'dbo'.

thanks so much dhulbert!
