Where are filtered or removed attachments stored?

I received a message from a colleague that had a login script attached. Exchange removed the potentiall harmful file...but I'd like to get it back if possible.
What happens to attachments that are removed? Where are they stored..if at all?
 
If you are seeing that message in Outlook, there is a registry key to allow you to see the attachments. Remember all the dire warnings about messing up the registry...
