Hi all. I'd like to know how other corporations are structuring their CRN environments within their technical infrastructure. Does a single team handle all CRN responsibilites (install, upgrades, tuning, troubleshooting, modelling, report building)? Or are these tasks distributed to different areas, such as install/upgrades/tuning supported by a "Technical" team (say group of WebSphere, Unix admins) , modelling/reports supported by "Application/BI team"? Any ideas on what is the best way? We are getting more an more CRN apps on our servers, and are trying to figure out the most efficient balance. Thank you for your ideas & thoughts...

Hi Cindyw
It's all depends on how your organization functions. At some places everything will be done a single person or 2 if the organization is small and can't afford more people. In contrast if the org is moderate/big and have lot user base there will be a demarkation between development teams and operation teams. Generally operations takes care of
installs and upgrades and are part of BI admin tasks where as modelling/report building, tuning will be taken care by application/BI team consisting of bunch of developers under team leads guidance.

Again there is no hard and fast rule. Organizations demands and knowledge of workforce in the organization will decide too. Hope this helps.
