We have been writing UNIONS in ORACLE SQL and are knowledgeable on doing this, now we have started using Crystal Reports and would like to know exaclty where in the Crystal environment we need to go to write a union and what the format is as the SQL format seems to be a little different in Crystal.

You will need to use the query designer tool A.K.A. Crystal SQL Designer in 8.0.

A word of caution however. For some reason, Crystaldecisions has decided to return string fields as memo fields to the report.

Are you still working with Oracle for these reports? If so, why not create stored procedures to get what you want?

If you are using Access, you can create the queries in Access and use them for the report.
