When you disable a drive in Networker Administrator(HP-UX), is it a software or hardware disable? Just wondering, because I was thinking about disabling a drive in our jukebox and letting oraback perform a backup to that drive, but I'm not sure it would work. Personally I think it's disabling the drive so nothing else can use it either.

Its a software disable, and you will probably not be able to access the drive for other purposes, especially if the drive is in a multidrive tape jukebox. Although, someone may have a workaround...
