I have a report that is supposed to run on the first Monday of every month. If I define a new shared schedule by selecting
Recurrence Pattern: Month
On week of month: First
On day of week: Mon
on what date will a February 2008 report using this schedule run?

well the 1st monday in the 1st week of feb is the 4th....
am i missing something here?

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Perhaps my question should have been less open-ended. Any human looking at the calendar would agree on Feb 4, I think. I'm wondering how Reporting Services would interpret the "First Week" specification in the subscription. Are Fri, 2/1, and Sat, 2/2, part of the last week of January? Or do these two days constitute the first week of February?

Bottom line is, I'm trying to create a schedule that will run reports on the first Monday of every month. Might some kind of data-driven subscription do the trick?

I think the only way to really determine that would be to test it - either set it up to run as you want and see if it does or set up a precursor as a test - maybe running on

Month pattern, week of month = 4, Day of Week = Tuesday

RS coul interpret that as 22/01/08 or 29/01/08. From how it handles that, I would've thought you could determine how it will handle your specific requirement..
