When the single affinity ( on NLB ) "ended" ?

Hello.

I've defined a cluster using NLB .
I've also defined a single affinity there
( since I have a web application that using session variables,
so I need the users to stay on the same server all time and not "travel" between servers )

My question is when the single affinity is "ended" ?
When the client reboots ? when he closes the IE ( this is the only application from which the client
is going to access the cluster ) ? or when the server reboots ?
