When the Bots arrive and your not home!!

For the past three nights my five sites have all been indexed by Google every night between 1 and 2am GMT.

The servers for three of the sites have been down for since 2.30pm today. If I get another visit tonight and the sites are still down will they ignore it and retain the previous cache or do I risk losing the index.

How do you check that Google has indexed your site?
I would like to know how to find this out?

You can have access to your server log then you can just check through it for all instances of googlebot.
