when on a secure site???????

I know nothing about mac computers. I have customer that is running OS X with IE 5.2.2, 128-bit encryption. When he tries to click on a link to a secrure page his browser frezzes. It won't load the page. The site works fine for all other clients. CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS PROBLEM.

Do other HTTPS sites work?

This may also be a problem with a javascript component to the particular page... among other things.

How about another web client? Apple's 'Safari' seems to load pages much faster (

http://www.apple.com).
