I have two questions regarding subreports.
First: I have a subreport that I dragged onto a main report (not sure if this was the right way to put it on there). I set some subreport properties in the ReportOpen event of the subreport. When I load the main report I get an error in the subreport's ReportOpen event that says the report is not open.
When does the subreport get opened? I have not opened it explicitly, do I need to? Do I have to set the subreport properties from the main report?
A side question: Do the 'can grow' and 'can shrink' properties apply only to textboxes? What do the subreport can grow and can shrink properties do?
I'm new to all this and appreciate any and all help.
