when is a outputpage() on a shape cleared

hi everybody,

in my app i call outputpage() from a reportlistener.
the output goes to a shape.
For a second the report appears, than it vanishes.
If i then call the same command from command window, it appears again and stays.

What kind of event clears the report from the window ?
