When is a Cleaning Tape WornOut?

My Library is an ATL L-500 (14 slots) with one Quantum DLT7000 drive. The Library is setup to do AutoCleaning. AutoCleaning assigns slot 14 as the cleaning tape and ArcServe then sees the Library as a 13 slot unit. Slot 14 does not appear in ArcServe's Device Manager GUI

Because of this, I doubt that ArcServe would generate any logs for cleaning. How can I tell when a DLT Cleaning Cartridge is used up? Monkeylizard
