when installing new programs with cd rom on win xp home, getting

while installing new programs from cdrom, on winxp home, getting pop-up windows, no disc in drive a:, how do I stop this pop-up window? Iam not using drive a: to install, and everytime the programs are started I get the window again, cancel, try again, continue? anybody, thanks

Check: Start/run, and delete any references to drive "A:/".
Do: Start/All Programs/Accessories/System/Disk Cleanup and clean all the "Temp" files (and anything else "Clean-up" wants to do).
