I am trying to import an excel file into the database, creating a new table in the process. There are approx 25,000 records in the spreadsheet. However the data gets 'scrambled' in the table with values from different records being inserted into different columns.
Could this have to do with the size of the file being imported?

Thanks in advance

It might, but how are you saving the Excel file? I find it best to save it as a comma-delimited test file (*.csv) then import it into Access using the import as a text file option. This tends to ensure that all columns in the Excel file are separated by commas, even if there is no data in a particular cell, thus ensuring that each column is allocated to its own field in Access. Have fun!)

Thanks, that seemed to work.
