when i try to access google using ie6-I get a message--

When trying to access google using ie6-I get a message that the web page is unavailable.I have no problem accessing any other page.I've tried looking for the hosts file and the files that are marked hosts do not have any reference to google.They only contain the sample web addresses.I've reset all parameters for ie to default.Help???
