When I minimize the application, it disappears from the taskbar

Hello again,

I ran into one more problem installing a client: I had to problems in fact but I solved the first thanks to a keyword search in the area (some icons were upside down in some applications, removing hardware acceleration did the trick). The other problem I have with this workstation is that some of my application disappear when they are minimized... Outlook and Word more specifically. Excel and Access are fine. Anyone else got that one, I didn't find any mention of this here. Any idea what I should investigate to resolv this one?

Maybe this could be something for you. I don't know what MetaFrame or Windows version you are running but if you follow this link there is a hotfix for exactly the problem you are describing for MetaFrame XP on W2k.

My system is a TSE4 sp6, MF1.8 sp3 but I read on the subject in all the forums and found a cure! I had to add a dword key to my registry, reboot and problem solved!
