we have 3 locations in which we use vmail-

when calling the dn to access your vmail from the location that has the call pilot server your password shows up as dashes. location 1 has did range of 4xxx and the vmail dn is 4xxx.

other locations that have did ranges of 5xxx and 7xxx in other cities have to call the vmail dn of 4xxx, and when entering their vmail passwords it shows on the display.

how does one make it so that locations that have the did range of 5xxx and 7xxx show up as dashes?

any help is greatly appreciated,

-bb.

Password suppression is NOT supported across a Meridian Network. I have run into this before on an installation. You can get all the information from the NTP 553-2901-301.

You do have a work around. Set EESD, on the remote switches, to NO. This prompt is located in the Customer Data Block. Just remember this will suppress all digits after a call is connected. The DTMF will still go, but you won't see on your display.

Hope this helps.
