When did you last rebuild your desktop?

I preach the above to my users regularly. They give me problems that would not appear if they rebuilt their desktop regularly.

They all claim to have done it "a few weeks ago" but when prompted none of them can rebuild it.

Question - is there any way to tell EXACTLY when they did it? The desktop folder changes its date every time you move or copy a file to it so that is not it.

I don't think it's possible to tell when it was last done. I recommend our users rebuild their desktop once a month but other than standing behind them or doing it or them then it's really up to them.
