When did Illustrator introduce its bevel effect?

Did Illustrator 10 have a bevel effect? Or did it come in with CS?

I have an advertiser who has created a logo in Illustrator 10, taken it into Photoshop for an Inner Bevel, then brought it back into Illustrator to add text. The resulting Illustratorr EPS has a poor gradient on the bevel when ripped.

If she could add the bevel within 10 it might improve things.

Shouldn't be too hard to find. Tell her to open AI 10 and go to Effects menu/3D. There's a submenu for extrude. If 3D isn't there, she can't do it.
