We have a remote location that has a Mini-remote Carrier and a Option 11c back at the main office. To get 911 to work at this specific site we have a Universal Trunk [ground start trunk] that is used in conjunction with TGAR. We run montly tests to make sure it is working. Recently we have noticed a 30 - 60 second delay before the call is connected.

The trunk card has been replaced, card enabled and each line disabled and re-enabled.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

make sure in the rlb that the flen is set to 2 or 3, otherwise the switch waits for interdigit timer and end of dial timer.. to test, dial 911#, if that speeds up the call then look at your ld 90/86 for number of expected digits

usually i have 9 as ac1, so i use 11 as a spn, use a dmi to insert the 9, i also route 9,911 to cover both dial strings..
