hi, I would love to know how to put a nice little icon on the left hand side of menu.

FOr example,

I use menu editor to create a menu. something like this
-> File edit View Project
and when I click on the File, a menu opens up and I have
something like this-> New Project
Open project
Save project
and so on.
My question is how do I put a little nice icon next to,well
before the New Project or Open project or the little disk icon next to Save project?

Thanks in advance,I appreciate the help.

VB does not provide a feature to do this, however, there is a third party OCX that allows you to do this. Problem is I cannot remember it's name.
I would recommend using a search through google.com
That's how I found it in the first place.

Another way to put an icon on the menu is subclassing the menu...but it's a little hard, not stable, and I think to much expensive only for an icon in the menu :)

Hmmmmm.... Why isn't subclassing stable?! I really like subclassing and I've never had a single problem with it and it's not bad to pay a little trouble to get a neat menu ;-)

Anyway, if you want to view a tutorial or something like that, here is a tutorial which explains you how to:

I saw your code Lucky...with a code like that it seems to be simple.
When I tried...an year ago, I found a different example, much more difficult and the application was instable.
I'll try with this :) Stevie B. Gibson
