When bringing in any Word file I get an error in 6.5 - PLS HELP

When I use the "Place" function, and open up a word file, I get a wierd message. It looks like this:

(the img tag doesn't want to work for me).
Then when I try to click on any of the options the scroll down list gives me, I'm back to the same message again. When I try to place it, before pressing the Open button, and just click once on the file, it recognizes it's a Microsoft Word file, but then when I try to double-click it, or press Open, it brings up that wierd dialogue box, and I can't do anything except press cancel, which does absolutely nothing. Can someone please help me?!?

Hi,


the best thing to do is open your word document and save it as an rtf-file. This kind of file gives no problem when you wan't to import a text-file.
Note: *.txt is also a good way to import files in Pagemaker.
