You need to get a patch for your mouse driver - It's somewhere on the MS site but I havn't got the link to hand. Will post back if I find it

oh, well the mouse on my wheel only zooms if i press ctrl while i use the mouse, but i just got a hold of these links, dont even know what they contain, maybe u can check them out yourself

it solved it for me immediatlely, but as mscallisto stated, his machine works different from mine, in fact, a co-worker of mine's downloaded the same thing, and her winzip acted a little weird when she was unzipping them but it still worked for them, whats the problem? is it that it didnt load right, or it did, but u still cant scroll within the VBA module, i think it might have to do with the version of the mouse u have
I noticed someone already mentioned this, but I can tell you I just installed the small program as it asked a few min's ago, and scrolling perfectly now in the VBA code window. If it does not work by itself, make sure you have the most recent driver/software for your particular mouse (microsoft or logitech, or any other). For me, it works like a dream!

I found an answer! Apparently, for some reason, in some cases, the VBA code window does not natively support the scrolling from a mouse. Don't know if it's a bad installation or what. However, there is a way around it. I found a free small program called "freewheel" on the web. Just go to
After testing all applications including the VBA Editor, Freewheel seemed to correct my problems and has some nice functionality.
Still I suggest trying everything possible to correct these types of problems (Updates,Drivers etc.), before trying 3rd party software which can sometimes cause additional problems.
