Wheel mouse

Hi,
I am trying to use a wheel mouse under AIX4.3.3.
Thre problem is that the wheel is not usable.
Is there a solution.
I found a set of packages for AIX 4.3.3 on IBM support site for wheel mouse support and install it but it changes nothing.
