What's Wrong??? 2

After Installation ActivePerl 5.8.4 (on winxp with service pack 1, in default folder) I can't run perl scripts. I was trying all tips and tricks from six tutorials - with no effect! Even examples (eg\example.pl for example ) aren't working... what's wrong? Please, help me!

Were you in the Perl\eg directory when you tried example.pl, and did you invoke it by typing perl example.pl?

Have you read the topics under Windows Specific in the index.html file in the Perl\html folder?

I was in that folder, but I don't read those part of documentation. Something is still wrong, but I have a clue what that might be - thanks to you! thank you for help mikehv.

nightnight, what was the answer to the problem. Im having the same troubles. I posted on September 1st, and everyone basically told me the same thing they told you.

It usually helps if you display a snippet of code along with and error messages you get!! Othewise it could be any number of things...
