Hi

What's the possibility to sudden having this message?
"Fork failed" when suddenly I could not use any command on the Hummingbird Communication X window session.? Sometimes, I have to issue the command a few times in order to get back to normal !! (?)
Tx

Actually, when I check back and the error message "Fork failed" is caused when I "cd" from root (?!!), but I still don't understand why it shows that message because even if I use "cd" command, I suppose to be changed to my $HOME directory, not root, not any directory. The reason why my system changes the path, but the current display on my Xwindow session still showing me different path, but not root, I don't know why.

Check back the system and here is what I found out the messages produced by one process named plp, but I still wonder could anyone provide me the explanation of exactly what it means for these messages?
