What's up with this Hard drive?

Hello All,

I got an Ultra 10 running Solaris 7 with a 9Gb HD. I just put in a 60 Gb Maxtor HD to go along with the 9Gb and set it up as slave. How is it when I go into format, partition, print it is telling me the size of the disk is 25.77 Gb? Where is the other 34.23 Gb of space? Anyone had this problem or know anything about this?

I know a kernel patch for solaris 8 fix the problem in that O/S for ide disk > than 32gb. Look into kernel patches for 2.7. When I get time I will look.
