When I open PageMaker files in inDesign there is an extra box arround the eps image's bounding box. It seems to have something to do with creating a space for text to go around it but it is not set up from the usual Text Wrap tab. Its not really much of a problem unless the graphic is an inline graphic. Then, when I try to move the graphic, all the other graphics and text in that particular story jump around, making it hard to evenly space things out.

So I guess my questions are, what is this secondary box called and how do I turn it off? Is it something I have to turn off in PageMaker or can it be done in inDesign.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

p.s. working on a PC InDesign CS 3.0.1

Can you offer a screen shot with a 'free image host' found through google.com?

I think I figured it out. InDesign wont let you adjust text wrap options on an in line graphic. I cut the graphic out of the story editor and onto the pasteboard, removed the text wrap option and then cut and pasted it back into the story editor. Everything seems to be working fine now.

sorry no image, though I appreciate your interest in helping.
