Hi all,

I'm upgrading a customer's SCN in the near future and wanted to get some feedback since our last upgrade (from 3.1.56 to 4.0) that didn't go so well since Avaya didn't QC before the release.

The customer has a 6-site SCN with Centralized VM, all IP 406v2's.

Thoughts, comments, warnings are all welcome!

4.1.9 is very stable
4.1.12 has just been released which shold fix a number of bugs (although I cant say I have ever come accros then in the real world)

Ditch 4.0 as soon as possible & go for V4.1.12, if you do find any issues with this latest release then at least downgrading to V4.1.9 is a reasonable option

Do not use 4.0 anything. 4.1.9 has voicemail issues. So far 4.1.12 has been O.K.

I wouldnt use 4.1 (9)

we have had several reboot issues with TLB Data errors and have been informed that they are resolved in 4.1 (12)

My personal opion is that Jury is still out on V4.0 and V4.1 as far as stability is concerned

but 4.1 (12) does resolve a long list of Cq's and hopefully is looking a little better :)

I await to be shot down in flames ;)

I've used 4.0.10 and it was a nightmare but 4.1.9 has helped out quite alot with my issues. It's been a few months and so far so good

4.1.12 seems solid enough, running 4.1.27 VMPro.

4.1.12 has a problem with analogue trunks, thinks it is receiving busy tone and hangs up the trunk.

Please remember to thank preople for their valuable input.

good morning Jason
is that maybe just a localized problem with the locale set to Australia, we have some customers running on it with analog trunks and so far, knock on wood, no problems.

If you can't be good, be good at it!

I Can confirm, The issue Jason describes is only affected on the Australian Locale.

It does it on the IP400 Office Universal Quad Analog Trunk (LS) Card - change to the ATM 4U module to cure the analog trun problem, just found this out by having that problem in a ipo 406 4.1.12 with vmpro 4.1.40 cutting greetings off. What a pain to trouble shoot.
