I created an MDI parent form and included a toolstripmenu control. I added a child form and added a toolstripmenu to that form. The child form looks great in design mode but when I am in run mode, the menu items for the child form display in the MDI form instead of the child form. This makes those entries quite inconspicuous. Is there something I can do to retain those entries on the correct menu??

I think by their very nature, a MenuStrip is designed to merge with an MDI automatically (all the time). You can change HOW it merges, but you can't stop it (I don't think).

What you want is a ToolBarStrip instead, I think....

As you can see, I'm not too confident about my answer though! :D
