Ok well i brought 2 19" monitors in the past 2 days.

1. NEC mutisync 95
2. Futura

my comp is p3-667mhz, tnt2 32meg

Ran both of them monitors at 1280x1024 @ 75 and the problem is.. the text gets blurry ..

+ on the nec, it gave a slight brown dust kinda look.

THe images u couldnt tell but only black text on white background.

(on the 2 monitor manuals, it says the resolution and refresh rate is supported and the nec manual said its even recommanded)

Anyone know the problem? ive wasted 5 days now trying to figure it out and brought 2 monitors.

thanks.

On your Nvdia TNT2 CD, there is a program called E-color 3Deep or you already may have it installed. It helps you set up the color for your monitor. The video card probably just needs to be tweaked to match your monitor. This program will do that. When I installed my TNT2, my screen was awful until I used this program to tweak it. Are you selecting "1280x1024 @ 75Hz" as the monitor type? If not, what is the OS monitor type set to? What OS do you have? Win98, WinXP, etc?

Make sure the correct video drivers are properly installed and try changing the monitor type. You could try Default Monitor, Plug & Play, Standard VGA 1280x1024 @ 75Hz, or even find the manufacturer's driver out on their website if it exists.
