what's isapnp.sys?

every time i try to install w2k i get the same error: "The file isapnp.sys is corupted. Press any key... and then i get please press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart youre computer"
- i am out of ideeas, i don't know what else to try. If you know what to do please let me know too.

isapnp.sys is a file that sets up plug and play cards that are on the isa bus.

get into recovery console and restore/expand the file manually from your win2k cd ...
