What's better to use ---------- ASP or Cold Fusion ?

I posted this question some time ago in both the CF and ASP forums. You can view it at

thread333-220065 my take on it is that it really depends on what is available for you.

Speed wise, I think it's the same. ColdFusion has got many supporters and a great user community. If you're developing stuff for others, then there are lots more IIS servers out there than ColdFusion servers.

I also considered J2EE cos of it's scaleability and cross-platform ability.

In the end i went with ASP cos I already have Windows Servers in my company and it didn't involve any more software investment. I started out doing CF programming in my previous job, and now that I've switched to ASP, I don't find any problems with ASP.
