What is it? A nusance...
What does it do? it takes up valuable space on your host server...
What do I do?
I use an ftp program and delete it from the server...

it doesnt need to be transfered to the server.
its just for frontpage to manage your web at the design stage..(i think, all i know is that i dont put them on my server and everything still works ok) Aaron Taylor

what about the other folders like:
_derived
_private
_vti_pvt

do you delete those ones too?

cheers!

Delete them all!!!

They can also cause unwanted caching after you have made changes. You shouldn't need any of them unless you are using some FP components. I stay away from all those to and do my own scripting/programming though. DeZiner
