Hi,

Can anyone recommend suitable hardware specs for a windows 2003 based server to manage approximately 40 users. 30 on site and 10 remote users. I really need advice on exactly what constitutes a good server in terms of hardware build. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

If it's mission critical dual processor, redundant power, raid, lots of memory, some form of backup you will use every day. As for specifics first figure out how your network will be used and how much data you need to keep and pass on the network and then find a system that can handle it. HP, Compaq and IBM all make servers as do Dell and Gateway.
